Since 2013, I've built multiple businesses, experienced success, navigated failure, and discovered that entrepreneurship has far less to do with building a business than it does with becoming the kind of founder who can sustain one.

I spent nearly a decade growing my first company, Evergreen Bride, into a nationally recognized wedding floral brand. From the outside, it looked like success. Behind the scenes, I was building a business that depended on me becoming someone I wasn't. When that chapter ended, I began the most important work of my career—not rebuilding a business, but understanding myself.

That journey eventually led to a deeper understanding of my own neurodivergence and transformed the way I approached leadership, creativity, and business. I rebuilt differently, discovering that businesses thrive when they're designed around the founder—not the other way around.

That's why my coaching platform is called Founders AcademI. The I is a reminder of what Socrates first shared with all of us in the timeless invitation: Know Thyself. If any business does not begin with a founder who deeply understands who they are, and how they work, it will be destined to end in heartbreak.
